Locus Recommended Reading List and Clarkesworld Readers Poll 2019

I have two huge announcements!

Locus Magazine, has released their yearly recommended reading list, which is the long list for the Locus Awards. My novelette, ‘The Sun from Both Sides’ has been nominated alongside such incredible authors as Elizabeth Bear, Nnedi Okorafor, N.K. Jemisin, Tobias Buckell, Karen Lord, Nalo Hopkinson, and Rebecca Roanhorse!

My story ‘The Anchorite Wakes’ was included in the anthology Best Science Fiction of the Year: Volume 4, edited by Neil Clarke, which has also made the list!

I’m stunned and grateful. This is definitely a bucket list moment and one I will treasure, but I’ve got even more good news.

I am a finalist for favourite story of the year in the 2019 Clarkesworld Reader’s Poll for my novelette, ‘The Sun from Both Sides’!

Thank you to everyone who voted for me and congratulations to everyone who has made both lists!

If you’d like me to win, please cast your vote at anytime between now and February 20th at the link below. Links to the stories and covers nominated are also included so please vote for your faves.

Thank you so much for your support and watch this space for the results!
